Hotel Hieronimi in Cochem

The food tasted good, the landlord was also friendly, but the landlady, on the other hand, was extremely unfriendly, I would advise her to look for another job, you just can't deal with guests like that, it's hard to beat. Without my company, I would have left straight away. The prices were also pretty steep and with such prices I expect something other than such an outrageous demeanor from the staff.

Great location, best view of the Moselle

The waiter on the terrace was so rude and rude when we were greeted that we left immediately after the menu was served. If you would like to be treated like dirt by the service staff, you will feel very comfortable here!

Very nice stay. Nice owners and very good wine. Highly recommended. Also great location with a short walk to town.

Was in Cochem for a day on October 3rd and had a really delicious meal with my girlfriend. Waiters, food and of course the wines are great. Always happy.

The restaurant was recommended to us and we would. Quality much better than on the other bank. In terms of price also okay 👍 Portion size is okay too ... You could, but it's actually enough. Our waiter was super friendly, quick, attentive. Top. However, we were there the day before and wanted to go out to eat spontaneously. It definitely doesn't work here. When we wanted to make reservations for the next day at 7:00 p.m., a lady said to us: “No, that's not possible, everyone wants to eat. 6:30 p.m. then went again 😅 We found it very unfriendly.

We went here for dinner one evening - although we had neglected to reserve, the waitress made it possible and arranged a table for us with 6 people. The staff was friendly throughout. Food is not cheap, but the quality is very, very good! It is worth it .. Thanks again

Excellent wines and highly recommended Federweißer and a nice atmosphere. The cellar looks very authentic. The staff was friendly and flexible. However, there is a star deduction for missing explanations of the individual wines during the tasting.

Nice place, friendly service, owner (at least, that seemed) speaks Dutch (is Dutch). Good wines, good value for money if you go for the tasting (8 pieces for 14.50). You can choose from the entire range and there are some small snacks.

We are now used to a lot from the restaurant in terms of appreciation and friendliness towards guests. But above all the boss is still top it now. Fast, hectic mass processing with unfriendly comments to the other guests as well. Anyone who visits here needs a thick coat. It has nothing to do with eating well. In addition, the performance of the kitchen has decreased ... This was our last visit, enough now. Unfortunately, you can hardly go out to eat in Cochem without mass processing and cheap quality.

The food was good, the prices reasonable. Nothing was left on the terrace, so we had to eat in the restaurant. Reservations are not accepted. The waitress spoke to my wife in a tone that appalled me. Apparently there is no need to treat people with decency. We won't be seen here anymore.

We went to the restaurant for dinner. The staff was really very friendly and we even got a seat on the terrace, even though they had actually said that it was full. The food was good, although maybe not particularly creative. Many miss the regional cuisine. But locals had already informed us in advance that the classic local cuisine in Cochem is very difficult to find or does not exist. So the selection of dishes was okay, even if a little small, especially if you don't like chanterelles. The wines are excellent! Really good. We also got a very good recommendation from the staff. Goes very well with our meal.

From July 20th to July 24th: We had a very nice large room. The staff and service were friendly and professional. The offer of the kitchen was unfortunately a bit disappointing as it had no regional dishes. However, the quality was excellent. One deficiency is that breakfast is only available from 8:30 a.m. Of course there were good wines from our own winery at pleasant prices. Overall a very good price-performance ratio !!! Since you cannot set the standards for luxury accommodation in a 2-star hotel, this is an honest 5-star rating. We would go back.

We were here for dinner. Great terrace with a sensational view of the Reichsburg. The wines are delicious. The food unfortunately only average.

The stay in the hotel was great. The rooms clean big enough bathroom sufficient. Very nice staff. At the hotel is a wine cellar with Fuhrmann wines. We recommend. Great view of the Moselle.

Very nice restaurant, we ate very well, service very friendly and courteous. Unfortunately we couldn't eat on the terrace due to a thunderstorm. From there you have a great view of the Moselle, the harbor and the castle. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant right on the water with a view of Cochem and Reichsburg. Nice premises and a large terrace with vines. The food (asparagus with schnitzel / steak) was very good, the service very friendly and courteous. In addition great wine and reasonable prices. Any time!

Great food, wine and views!

it's a lovely place with very nice food. We had white asparagus and salmon. unlike other extreme salty food we had in Germany it's super light and fresh. probably one of the best we had in Germany. Their own wine was also quite good. I had a feinhalb which was nice.

Service wasn't great. The food was good. Wines too. Couldn't use card to pay because their atm machine had issues. Walked all the way to the center over the bridge to get the money and when I came back a half hour later they didn't even notice anymore and let us wait for at least another 15 mins untill we walked inside to pay. So it gave quite a downer on an otherwise fine and sunny day. You'd expect a bit of service and attention when a service they offered failed.
